The German-based Romanian pianist Bogdan Vaida has always been interested in bringing people closer to classical music. This is why, in 2015, he initiated the Klassik Mittendrin project, a series of classical music concerts held in unconventional places. In 2017, the project arrived in Romania as well under the name of Classic Unlimited, and ever since, it has continued to build bridges between this music genre and its audience.
“I searched for a way to show people, regardless of whether or not they are connoisseurs, that what I love about music is its specific content and its connection with everyday life. I try to set this music free from the usual patterns in which certain social constraints often suffocate it”, says the pianist.
