We are in the 7th day of Jazz in the Park. Today we are hosting an extraordinary concert by Nik Bärtsch’s Ronin! An absolute must-see of this festival!
Slight change in the program: we are moving the Nik Bärtsch’s Ronin concert from the Art Museum to Form Space at Cluj Arena (Aleea Stadionului no.2, level 0), so we can get away from the bad weather. This being said, we are waiting for you in Form!
Despite the fact that this year we’re having a rainy June, it doesn’t mean that we can’t enjoy good music and awesome activities. On the contrary, great music can turn our evening into an excellent one!
With a style that can be described as zen funk, the quartet of Swiss pianist Nik Bärtsch (instrumentalist & an Aikido black belt holder) explores a deeper, spiritual even, area of music.
Inspired by Japanese culture, Nik Bärtsch is a free spirit, a lone wolf, a believer in one’s power to create their own path, while remaining faithful to Art.
Born in Switzerland, in 1971, Nik Bärtsch studied piano and clarinet at the University of Zürich, focusing on musicology, linguistics and philosophy.
We are already extremely excited to witness an incredible concert today! We start at 20:30. You can find tickets to the concert here.
Starting tomorrow, we will be meeting you in the same place where the festival was born: the Central Park. Many, many concerts await us this weekend! You can find the complete program here.
