One week. 7 more days of festival. The concerts and activities will take place starting today until Sunday in many, many places: on the Eroilor Boulevard, in front of the matthias Corvinus House, at the Art Museum, in Pata Rât and in the Central Park. Here’s what we have in store for you and where we meet with music this week.
Monday, June 25th
The first day of the week will mark the beginning of street concerts at Jazz in the Park. We invite you to the Eroilor Boulevard and in front of the Matei Corvin House, to enjoy live music together.
Among the artists that you absolutely can’t miss are Dan Byron, JazzyBIT and Adam Ben Ezra. Of course, they are just a small part of the musicians that will give a new vibe to the streets of Cluj. Check out the full program here.
The shows at the Art Museum will continue with another exceptional concert. Muse Quartet will accompany Silent Strike, Lucia and Byron. The artists will go on stage to provide us with an unforgettable musical experience, where indie, electro and rock will be intertwined with classical music.
Tuesday, June 26th
For the second year, we set up a festival stage at Pata Rât. We are trying to bring the community closer together through culture and to draw the public’s attention to the problems with which Pata Rât is confronting.
In order to facilitate transportation, we will provide buses who will take passengers for free and will depart from the city centre every 20 minutes, starting from 17:30. The last bus will leave from Pata Rât after 23:00. Three concerts will take place there, starting from 18:30: Taraful lui Siminic, JazzyBIT and Marius Mihalache Band.
Also on the same day, don’t miss out on the second to last concert at the Art Museum, from 20:00 – Soweto Kinch, whose indisputable talent is only proven by the many awards that he has won.
Wednesday, June 27th
For the 7th day of Jazz in the Park we have all chosen the event that we must not miss: the last concert at the Art Museum, starting at 20:00, Nik Bartsch’s Ronin. The Swiss pianist will go on stage together with the Ronin band. Get ready for an amazing concert of a band which combines several musical genres in a creative and innovative way.
