Bogdan Vaida


The pianist Bogdan Vaida will pay a tribute to George Enescu during the Enescu concert, on June 28th: Manifest pentru România (Manifest for Romania), where the Romanian composer’s pieces will be placed in the universal context of classical music, next to Liszt, Brahms and Schubert. Basically, this will be an incursion through the 100 year history of universal music. Bogdan Vaida was born in Cluj-Napoca, on September 8th, 1981. He graduated from the “Sigismund Toduță” High School of Music in Cluj, then continued his studies at the “Gheorghe Dima” Music Academy under the guidance of professor Ninuca Oșanu Pop. In 2002, he was granted an Erasmus scholarship in Freiburg, Germany, at “Musikhochschule”, where he remained until graduation.

He settled in Germany, in Freiburg, and had numerous concerts in several countries in Europe. Currently, Bogdan Vaida is the soloist of the Klassik Mittendrin tour, which had its debut in October 2015 in Germany, and the Classic Unlimited tour in România.
