About the campaign
This year, with your help, we broke a record with Jazz in the Park. We had over 7,000 donors. We are very grateful and glad that, through the contribution of the festival community, we manage to support artistic and creative projects. It’s no small thing, coming to a free entrance festival and choosing to buy a… non-mandatory ticket.
This gesture gives us confidence, showing that if we put our mind to it, we can be united and even… move mountains. This is exactly why we decided to continue the donation campaign during the following period.
Those who purchased non-mandatory tickets until Sunday, July 8th, were included automatically into the Fund raffle.
11 days of festival have gone by, 9 of them with rain, sometimes even pouring rain. You stood by us, through sunny and rainy times. In addition to the audience record at the Nouvelle Vague concert and the record of consecutive rainy days at the festival – nine – this year’s edition also broke a record regarding the number of people who bought non-mandatory tickets to support the Jazz in the Park Fund.
Over 7,000 awesome people donated 13,200 euros to fund the artistic and creative projects selected by the Fund jury. Our goal is to exceed the amount of 13,200 euros, in order to be able to finance at least the first three projects of the Fund, so the donation campaign is still open.
About the supporters’ raffle
We’re continuing the fund campaign now, after the festival, so you can still purchase non-mandatory tickets (with Lei 10, 30 or 100) and support the artistic projects selected by the jury.
By purchasing non-mandatory tickets until July 8th, you were automatically included in the Jazz in the Park Fund raffle. You “risk” winning a Pegas bicycle, your weight in beer and a Jazz in the Park beanbag.
Who entered in the raffle?
If you bought at least one non-mandatory ticket – online or offline, during the period June 21st – July 8th, you were part of the raffle. Lei 10 non-mandatory ticket gives you a chance to win, 3 tickets, 3 chances, and so on, depending on the donated amount. For instance, a Lei 100 ticket gives you 10 chances to win.
Keep the non-mandatory ticket (received online or offline). Each ticket has a code, based on which you will be able to claim your prize.
Follow the Fund draw, Monday, July 9th, and check if the code matches that on your ticket. If it does, write us a message on the Jazz in the Park Facebook Page, send us a photo with the winning ticket and series, and we’ll give you the gift.
The non-mandatory tickets for supporting the Jazz in the Park Fund are available online here. Buy them until Sunday, July 8th, 11:59 PM, and enter the Fund raffle.
We thank you for your support!
