Mutant Vinyl is the work of British musician & songwriter, Edwin Pope. The Mutant Vinyl sound is a saxophone driven blend of nu-jazz, dub, funk & trip-hop. Mutant Vinyl has toured worldwide, opening for artists such as Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, Rudimental & Snarky Puppy, as well as collaborating with Tricky, Fun Lovin’ Criminals & Sir Paul McCartney.

I make original music, paired with a captivating live show. I perform with a live band, which features frequent improvisation & high energy.
We play music because we love music, so would definitely be involved with your jam sessions & after party vibes.
My new single is coming in July, via Kobalt Music, & I proudly endorse Trevor James Saxophones. My previous releases, Lavender, & the Kick The Reel EP, have received worldwide radio play, as well as praise from BBC Radio 1 & Thought Catalog US.
My previous show highlights include playing lead saxophone with the Dorset Youth Jazz Orchestra at the Royal Albert Hall, representing the UK at the Belarus International Music Festival, & opening for Rita Ora at the O2 Arena.
